The yearly January 3-day track weekend. Mecca for those of us addicted to the trackpipe. My buddies trailered all the gear down and I flew into Jacksonville Friday evening to meet up with them. The MI contingent was well represented with 15 or so MI guys down for the whole weekend. Weather was fantastic Saturday and Sunday, with rain off and on for Monday. The Expert group was a little rough with local racers using it as full-contact race practice. Didn't bother me too much but Dan O'Connor got hit and taken out by one of the racers, banging both him and his bike up and effectively ending his weekend.
